Late 8810s tc9 motors 4 spoke basket

It's hard to notice because the sense of scale skews things, but those are actually a TC7 motor. If you find a picture of the old school 10" HCCA you can spot the differences in the width of the motor relative to the basket. Still a very nice sounding driver and those are in really nice condition.

Yeah, but it's really hard to know that unless you have both in your hands because they look identical and you rarely see them side by side in a picture. TC9 is larger in diameter. TC7 is good for sealed applications.

I've just been fortunate enough to have had so many of the different versions in my hands to know the difference. Hopefully it will help others.

Yeah I saw that. The TC9 looks to be in really good condition.
