I used to end up in the hospital every spring when I was younger with massive infections in my chest, nose and ears from allergies. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out the doctor half-way through the surgery came out to mom and said you need to come look at this. The wisdom teeth in the top of my mouth had roots going up past my eyeballs. He said in 30 years of being a surgeon he had never seen this before. Since then my allergies have been cut back by at least 95%. No more infections no more hay-fever. Mind you before that in 8th and 9th grades I went in for allergy testing they found 4 pages front back of allergies. I went through 3 or 4 years of shots two shots every 2 weeks except I would get 3 weeks off a couple times a year for vacations. That helped but not as much as getting those wisdom teeth pulled out.
I get where you guys are coming from in Florida as well. Sarasota/Siesta Key wasn't as bad in the spring time as you guys I don't think with that stuff but I can remember going up to the pan handle and seeing the streets yellow after a rain storm.
