I am wanting to use this Clarion apx 400.2 for a subwoofer at 1 ohm just wondering if anybody's had experience on this or if the amp can handle this at 1 ohn thanks

I googled & duckduck & im blue in face. Can i add something to the amp & make 1 ohm stable? Just asking. Seem like heavy duty amp. Thanks

Nope can not make an amp 1ohm stable either they are from factory or they are not.

Those are very good amps I have about 10 of that series ... but it can only be bridged to 4 ohm mono ...they are really clean on highs . Is yours the white marine version ?
