Thanks ...it messed me up pretty bad ... going from enjoying pretty much everything to learning how to balance and walk again ... before that I was into rock climbing ...hiking ..exploring and enjoying the out doors ...now I can barely go up stairs ...flat ground im sorta ok because I've learned to take the weight off that leg ..and it goes to the left now ... but most of what I enjoyed has been over with... one never knows ... and has no control over something like this ..
I broke my right heel (calcaneum) last year at work. I was climbing a ladder and one of my gloves ripped, lost grip and fell +/-12'. I'm recovering better than my orthopedist predicted but still going to need shoe ortesis for the rest of my life. The worst was the cast I had for 2 months. Had to re-learn how to walk because it f'ed my muscles.
Thanks ... I hope you get through your injuries as well ...I got fitted to a special knee brace about 2 weeks ago ..but have worn it twice ..the second time it left my leg bruised and in pain ...though it helped with my knee pain a lot ..ill probably try it tomorrow and trek around the snow here ...and try and take a few pics ... of the landscape ..they are saying at least 12 hours of snow predicted...ill feel like I'm up north lol
