I'm running my ultimax at 4ohm and when the RF was in there it was @ 2ohm. This would be at 1ohm... the full 1200w

I would look at this sub if I were you. They can take a beating.

The ribs are actually what turn me off. Can't really say why but they just don't look clean to me.

4 cubes net for 4-8's tuned to 33 hz. That XFL would get down or take a look at this sub. You can still find the original XFL's.

They play down to 25 hz. and up to 40 hz. without a problem.

If you really want to notice a difference get this sub with a Sundown SFB2K or SFB3k.

XR is a good choice as well. A little better sound quality. I think the XFL would be slightly louder. IMO!
