I've never ran one. I'm pretty sure it's more of a Sound Quality sub than an SPL sub. It would probably sound good with about 1,500 watts of clean power.

I was thinking 1200rms @ 1ohm. I like how that sub looks and you seem to know AB subs.

Savard makes a great sound quality sub as well. Are you going for loud or quality? What car and box? Can you run a single 12"?

My G6, I am gonna stay with a single 10" sub. I think the AB would be a step up from my RF P3D4 and My Dayton Ultimax. My box is perfect for it @ 1.40cuft tuned to 35hz. Oh, I was going for just a bit louder.

Thought about a 10" Brahma? Idk what rms you have to play with or the SSA Icon? Both would be a stepup from that RF. I have a 10" RF P3D2 sitting here that is barely used thought about dumping it. I'm sure shipping would be a expensive though.

The XFL1022 would definitely be louder.

It probably wouldn't be that much of a difference, IMHO.

I'm running my ultimax at 4ohm and when the RF was in there it was @ 2ohm. This would be at 1ohm... the full 1200w
