Low volume of subwoofer

Hello,

I just wired my subwoofer to Passat B8 (i took cables from trunk and connected High/low adapter Helix AAC.3)

Subwoofer : Kicker VL7R102
Amplifier : Kicker KXA800.1 (+ remote controller)
Capacitor : Hifonics HFC 2000
Cables : 50qmm

I connected all of these, but subwoofer is very quiet.
On radio i tried to add subwoofer volume , but it is not working.

I also tried to add Gain on remote controller of amplifier, but it is not working aswell (it is connected to amplifier, but for some reason it is not doing anything).

Please have anybody met this issue before?

Thank you very much for your help.

Why are you running a capacitor? You need to set the gain on your amp its self before messing with the remote. The remote is a % of the gain set on the amplifier, not a bypass.

Hi,

There is no possibility to set Gain on amp itself. It is only possible to be set by remote controller.

I started to think about cables between amp and subwoofer (is it possible that they are too thin? )

Thank you
