I would still wire them down to 1 ohm. At 4 ohm, the smart 3 only does I think a little under or a little over 2000 watts. What's really cool about the smart 3 is you could even wire down to .5 ohm and the amp really still only takes enough power to make the 3000 ish watts. It knows not to go crazy with the power and damage itself

I was thinking of buying 4 DVC4 subs and wire them to two ohms on the Smart3K. So, if I ever did sell the subs, then, I would be able to sell them in pairs and somebody could wire a pair of them to one ohm.
