Hey guys. I want to drop some low profile subs in my son's 2017 Chevrolet Colorado truck? They will be added to the stock radio just to get a bit of bass and fuller sound. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Not necessarily. Just something that wouldn't take up a lot of space and still make his back seat functional

Biggest question is the enclosure. If youre building it yourself, you have tons of options for shallow mounts or 8s. The options get limited if you’re buying a prefabricated enclosure, if you want a nice sounding system.

The American Bass XD844 is only 5-½" deep. A pair of those on a Taramps MD1200 would work. Where are your space parameters?
