Just dropping by to say hi. I am in the very early stages of planning 2 builds. 1 for my wife's Kia Soul and 1 for me GMC Sierra. The Kia will use an aftermarket head unit, but my Sierra is going to use the stock unit. I want to try going active, so you will see me posting a few questions in regards to that. I haven't built anything in about 10 years other than my Swope Towers for my house.

Taramps amps, focal components, DSP, Sundown subs, big three, AGM battery (batteries), and Pioneer HU. Ported custom made box and you should be good. Cliffs notes.
