Cars also have a significantly higher survival rate. I've been in a crash landing on an airliner. Believe me, it is no fugking fun. Watching an engine blow up and the cabin fill with smoke will quickly fill your pants with shit. Getting off a plane on the runway surrounded by firetrucks and ambulances is no joke. You can be in a hundred car crashes and survive. One engine plane or helicopter crashes are hard to survive.
