6.5's, 8's, 10's or 12's?!?

Brainstorming underseat, front firing woofers for my '17 Ram. I have not seen any of these done on this year ram so I am going to give it a shot!!! Never worked with fiberglass before but have good buddies who have it down. So, of the choices what would you run? I think I have the space for (6) 6.5's but for sure 4. All the other choices it would be 2 each. The only way I could do 12's would be a small sealed volume enclosure with a riser for the rear seat. Let's be clear, I want LOUD when I want it but 99% of the time it's going to be SQ oriented. Tight, deep and powerful is what I am looking for. Say a 2k budget for amp and woofers, let's have some fun!! I may be able to fit (4) 8's or (3)10's if I can find a woofer that handles/allows the cubes i have to work with. I have not measured yet but i am sure i can make the airspace of the (6) 6.5's i have seen under ford and Chevy back seats. Also, this is not or ever will be a comp/spl system. I am mostly concerned with SQ, tight and low. LOUD happens when you throw enough power to it!!! If it doesn't get loud enough I can always do round 2!!!

4- VFL 8's on a Taramps MD3k. "If it fits, it hits."

I'm running 3 SSA F8Ls ported under my seat. 1.95 cubes net at 33hz on a DD m2a at .67. It hits pretty dang hard for a under seat box. But I had to lift my seat 2" to get enough airspace and it was a tight squeeze to fit everything under the seat. No idea how people get 4 8s under my back seat with proper port area.
18 sierra crew cab

Soooooooo, I found myself in the same dilemma which is why I'm giving feedback even though the last reply was months ago. I got a 2015 Dodge ram crew cab. You are correct You can put (6) 6.5 and I ended up doing just that. But I deleted the under seat storage. I drilled out the vertical part undern area completely . Drilled out the vertical metal part from underneath the frame then sound deadend everything. I built the box but it was my first box and I made it about three cubic feet. And aeroported it. I went skar EVL 6.5s. So after getting everything put in I didn't have enough space to have them going all across the front and I tried to put two in a side which canceled out a lot of my sound. So then I decided to go with a much smaller box. Built box number 2 with two sealed chambers and wired it to 1.5 ohms three subs in each side. I gave it a 2000.1 skar amp and it bangs.... Like there's no way this bass is coming from 6.5s bang. if it's too late for you already then I apologize but definitely if you haven't moved forward I recommend getting 6.5s. all that punchy bass this and that...I don't hear it. Tight, accurate, and his all the way up and down the spectrum sound . This is smooth clean whamming even at 30 hertz. I added a audio control DSP to do some leveling and a cheap soundstream to add back in the bass to the signal and the sound hits. Facts. You will be able to get more subwoofers in the space by going smaller than trying to go bigger. And you will probably have to go down firing to get the most out of that setup but if anyone is curious this is THE WAY to go. To keep your trucks usable and space is the premium. Go sealed and get as many subwoofers as you can inside the area versus getting half or less the amount of subs in that area to go ported. These things are piranhas. The more there are the worse the devistation!
