Hi there, kinda new into the car audio scene and I just had my first system installed two days ago. It's a Bass Inferno 4-Channel 2000 Watt Amp with two 12" Subs (Image attached).
Currently, the bass is meh and I feel like it could hit a lot harder. Only reason I think this, my ex had 1 12" sub, don't remember the amp, and she had the bass setting on her radio set to -4 and her car rattled. When I asked her how her sub hit that hard, she said she had her amp turned up as high as it could go but to where it still sounded good. Now, to get good bass from my system, the setting on my radio has to be maxed and the volume has to be up a decent amount. What would I properly need to fix on my amp to help it reach better levels? I have done research as well and I know that the gains need to be set properly so there isn't any distortion, which I'm willing to do. I can also provide images of the amp at it's current settings.
