What annoys the ***** outta you/pisses you off...

I don't. Fast food is nasty and so are most restaurants.

I make my own pizza or pick it up fresh from Papa Murphys which does not accept tips because they pay their employees normal wages.

Then why did you even say anything? All these people that work these jobs expect to be tipped. If there was no money to be had in these jobs then nobody would work them and EVERYBODY would have to cook for themselves... but this is not the case. We are here for everyone's convenience and we expect compensation for that convenience.

You are bitching about tips yet wont get a job that doesn't rely on tips...   Why keep working that job then? So you can get tips and not claim them on your taxes?
I work this job because it is a job I can do with a knee that won't allow me to do physically labor intensive jobs anymore. However, my reason for working ANY job is irrelevant. I claim all my taxes, I pay my f*****g bills, I tip those who work for tips and don't need to justify any of it to you. I am not bitching about tips. I am not complaining about tips. I posted information.

So you can be on your feet all day with a knee problem but can't sit on a forklift all day at a warehouse making $25 an hour?
I am a delivery driver... I am not on my feet all day. There is NO PLACE here that will pay that. This is a truck stop town. What I do makes me plenty of money and I live comfortably. I owe nothing on anything. I own 2 vehicles outright. I work 25 - 30 hours a week so my body is not stressed out. What do you do Brandon?

Then why are you constantly posting on here about how you hate your job and no one tips you?
Because I work with a melting pot of hormones and overly sensitive people who don't do their jobs which causes me to have to do more work than any normal person should. I don't post about it constantly... you are over exaggerating. I hate working in general. But I have to do it so I do. No way in hell if you are in Florida and working there you don't complain about something. I lived in Florida for 22 years and I know there is plenty to ***** about.

I'm white and I wouldn't tip you.   I can't stand how people get jobs that rely on tips then ***** about not making any money cause no one tipped them.  Here is a tip. Get a job that doesn't rely on tips. 🤔
So much this. All those fast food workers crying over 15/hr because they think they deserve it....?? How about going back to school for a better education for yourself for a better paying job rather than relying on McDonalds to pay you 15/hr doing the same exact thing every other worker there does?! I'm stumped over it. I don't get why they think their entitled to the large wage increase. It's fast food! It's not supposed to pay good, rather get your foot in the door and gain some exp in the working world.

I delivered pizza myself for a few years while working a f/t job. It was ok, get to drive around, listening to stereo and all. What my breaking point was dealing with customers and their rudeness. Then having the nerve to call the store and complain about me and make up some BS story. One time I made a delivery about a block from I used to live. Guy had chew in his mouth and asked me what the date was, (He was writing a check)> And had the nerve to keep saying well t hat's unfortunate for you because I was gonna give you a tip.....M'fucker why should I know the date?! Go back inside and look at your calender! Had another deal where it was a very steep hill with a ton of gravel on it. I couldn't get out. I must've been spitting rocks everywhere and the guy was pissed. Sorry dude....instead of calling the store to ***** about the driver, don't help him out of your pathetic driveway! There was several times tips were great...1 wknd almost pocketed 100 bucks. This was before the delivery charges took place. I can't imagine it now. So I wouldn't expect to tip my driver for some food, plus deliver fee plus a tip on top of it. I have heard that part of delivery fee goes to drivers. Tipping is NOT a luxery, It's earned. It's not to be expected....

btw, just to give you an idea, delivery fee around here for Domino's is almost 5 bucks. Yeah I'm close enough to go pick it up. Fawk those fees.

People tend to say that African Americans are bad tippers or don't tip well. So I took it upon myself to do an experiment over 4 days at work. My findings showed that... hold a sec, let me grab my findings...

Day 1, Wed Feb 27th. - 17 deliveries in total. 4 African Americans (1 tip) 13 Everyone else (12 tips)

Day 2, Thurs Feb 28th. - 13 deliveries in total. 7 African Americans (0 tips) 6 Everyone else (6 tips)

Day 3, Fri Mar 1st. - 22 deliveries in total. 10 African Americans (1 tip) 12 Everyone else (11 tips)

Day 4, Sat Mar 2nd. - 19 deliveries in total. 1 African American (0 tip) 18 Everyone else (18 tips) This ONE African American delivery was a late order of nearly $50 at 10:56pm (we closed at 11pm) and was delivered AFTER WE CLOSED and he went out of his way to write a 0 with a line through it for my tip. I looked at him and said "Really? You placed a late order of almost $50, make me use my gas to bring it to you after we closed and you are going to stiff me on a tip?" he closed the door in my face.

For these findings I was called a racist, told that my post was racist, I was called other names... I went on to do other research including finding a study done by a major university that confirmed my findings and what other people also say. It is what it is... some people look for a reason to show how sensitive or ignorant they are.
Even if you are supposedly racist, doesn't really matter if it proves beneficial to you.

Are those real numbers? Seriously less than 5% actually tip? People actually don't tip when you order delivery? I'd start telling people stories of how your food was spit in once because you didn't tip, make them think their food is compromised

Nothing was embellished or made up. I kept a piece of paper every night for 4 nights in a row and drew a graph on it each night. One side was African Americans the other side was Everyone Else and it stated if there was a tip or not. It did not include addresses or amounts of tips. As mentioned above customers will call the store and out right lie about things that never happened just to get free food as well. I can't tell you how many deliveries I have been on where i am taking someone free food. I almost never get a tip for those deliveries. I always ask the customer to check the free food before I leave just to make sure it acceptable and more often than not they don't even look at it.

Through it all I do my best to smile and be polite to everyone with the exceptions of those inconsiderate jerks who call within the last 10 minutes we are technically open and order a shit ton of food, pay with cash, causing us to have to stay later at work because all the sensitive people who get paid to stand there at work while they stare at their phones leave right at closing time instead of helping the team out so we can clock out when we get back. I have to close tonight. We close at 10pm. I bet I will not get home until close to 11:30pm.

On the racist thing... I don't believe I am racist... I hate everyone equally with the exception of women... I hate most of them just a little bit more. Bunch of heartless little liars. ;)

Yeah, it sucks for drivers... would be great if they gave us the whole delivery fee but they don't. Dominoes is a little different then Pizza Hut around here. They give a specific dollar amount to the driver for each delivery so they are getting "something" each delivery, but it isn't much. Pizza Hut gives mileage. With a small delivery area, you can see how this can **** even more than Domino's. They pay their drivers between $.25 - $.35 per mile. Both places are charging a delivery fee near $3.00. Most of which goes for The bags the food is delivered in, car toppers and insurance on the drivers... yes, we are required to have our own insurance and the company also has its own insurance to cover us.

Rates they pay employees varies from state to state. In NC I worked at a Pizza Hut and they paid a straight wage of $7.25 per hour, plus $1.25 per delivery, plus tips. My average after tax take home each month was in the $3,500 range. My Brother worked their as well and we shared a place... as we do now. We do our best to live smart, our bills are always paid on time, rent is never late. All our lights in the house are LED's and our air is set to 74 degrees. I hate the fees though. So many people assume we get that money or say they already charge a delivery fee, why would I pay you again. I understand their points and it's frustrating. Those $20+ pizza only cost like $3 - $5 for the company to make... man I should open a pizza joint.
