Running two Kicker CVRs in a ported box with a Skar RP 1500 is a solid setup. Here are a few points to consider:

1. Power Handling: The Kicker CVR subwoofers typically handle around 400-600 watts RMS per sub. When you run two of them, you're looking at a total combined power handling of around 800-1200 watts RMS. The Skar RP 1500 is capable of delivering up to 1500 watts at 1 ohm, so you'll have enough power, provided you wire the subs correctly.

2. Wiring Configuration: Ensure that the subs are wired to match the impedance that the Skar amp is designed for. If you’re using dual 4-ohm voice coils (which is common for CVRs), you can wire two CVRs in parallel to a 1 ohm load, optimizing power delivery from the amp.

3. Box Tuning: Ensure your ported box is properly tuned to the specifications suited for the Kicker CVRs. A ported box typically enhances low-frequency output, which pairs well with these subwoofers and can give you that deep bass you’re looking for.

4. Installation Considerations: Make sure your vehicle's electrical system can handle the additional load. It might be helpful to consider upgrading your battery or adding a capacitor if you notice voltage drops.

5. Sound Quality: The combination of the Kicker CVRs and the ported box should produce a good bass response for most genres of music, but some tuning might be necessary to ensure the sound quality aligns with your preferences.

Overall, this setup looks promising and should perform well. Just make sure everything is wired correctly and tuned to your liking.

If anyone else has insights or different experiences, feel free to chime in!

If you're talking about purchasing that box with the dual 12s, then you're looking at a combined RMS of 800 watts.

The rule of thumb is RMS plusd 50%, which allows for reactive resistance (box rise) and dynamic headroom.

That puts you in around the 1200-watt mark.

Skip the skar, grab one of these instead, re-wire to run that box st 4 ohms, depending.

Can't beat it for $170.00!

Comes in 1 or 2 phm configurations, so we would need to know what the wiring possibilities with that box are. Do the two woofers have dual 2 or dual 4 ohms voice coils?

Yeah, it's a 3k amp, but if you wire the sub differently, it puts out 1300 at 4 phms, and that is ideal, and the amp barely breaks a sweat.

Or one of these, I've been running a couple of the 4-ch class AB units for a time, no issues.

A real all-around winner and definitely preferable over the Skar is the Stinger MT-1500.1
