Ok so I have a Hifonics brutus BRZ1200.1d and an Alpine type r in my 96 prelude. When I power up my amps in the morning they have what seems like condensation on them. My Alpine MRP-F300 which powers my components works fine. The BRZ however, makes my sub go crazy and makes the sounds of an apocalyptic thunder storm. So I turn my HU off and let everything dry for about 30 minutes and it works fine after. I also just when from a crapy Walmart Sony HU to the Kenwood bt901 that I got from Christmas but I don't think that would make my amp do that would it? ANY help would be greatly appreciated because its annoying and stupid lol!!!

Thanks, Nick

Yep, at the amplifiers. I get the same 14.7 volt reading when they cutoff too.

Pull it and test it at the battery post. Simple Power up test to verify if it powers up fine out of protect mode. if it does then Id be checking...

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.
