16v on an MB Quart Onyx 4.60 lol

I was measuring the output of an MB Quart 4.60 on my bench and did not realise my power supply was up to 16.5v DC. I could not figure out why the amp was putting out close to 85w rms without clipping (on the scope). It did not give up the ghost but I was surprised that it did it for almost 20 mins without dying (I shut it off before anything happened lol). I wonder if they can take that daily....
