Yesterday i went to a local audio shop and had my DD3515 in a 5.5 cube box @ 32 hertz im my ext cab s10 metered. I did 137.4 legal and 147.3 outlaw in the port with a 38hz peak.. this is my first time being metered and will be looking for improvements as i go. i plan on doing a blow through in the future how well was this score for my first time?? Any advise and thoughts would be lovely..

well its 5.5 before displacement and port.. and i have a Planet audio PDX 2000 watt amp at 2ohms on it right now its grossly underpowered but i got the amp for a pretty good deal so i cant complain.

I dont think it's too bad. With a truck though I would guess you should hit 140+. I did 136 with 2 12's in a prefab box in my astro. Another guy did 144 with 3 10's in an S-10. I think you're amp may be the weak link.

I doubt its the amp... it should be pushing 1kw at 1 ohm...

a single decent 12" in a decent box will hit a 137 easily on 500 rms... in the cab of a p/u truck...

2 12's on 1500 will do a 145 pretty easy in a minivan or suv...

and in the port? thats a realllllly low score for a port...

I did a 137.9 out of a trunk on a single 12 and 750rms...thats with the car off and metering on music...so that score seems pretty low

Just needs some tuning. Should have plenty of room for improvement. I did a 137 legal with 2 8's and 700 rms so you should easily be able to get into the low 40's

easily into the 40's...

I wasn't gonna post our results but since others did we are doing 139 in a trunk of a single 12 and 500 rms

147.3 on music and 150.1 in an suv on 2 12's and 1600 rms..

the 139 is on a zeus sub in 2.6cf tuned at 36Hz with a 50hz -3db tone in a 99 alero and a dsc480 using the dupe function and bridged

the 147 is on 2 old school brutus on an old school brutus amp at 15 volts in a 2000 windstar in 3.5cf tuned at 38Hz

both enclosures were designed by the trunk car champ M Stiers to be musical and still very loud.

me and my customer could not be more happy with the results lol

Not bad. I think I am around 139 on a tone, but with 750rms rather then 500...
