So we got a new truck and I think it has a gem or two in it.

My dad found an old 76' GMC Sierra Grande in pretty good shape, guy moved from washington state to yellow springs in ohio with the thing and has a book documenting all happenings with the truck and all work no matter how minor or major. It has a pretty low geared tranny with a small block 350 in it. Has two batts and a H/O alt, the batteries arent wired right but not the point. SOB has leaf springs in the front and the back + fwd, anyway, still not the point. I went to check it out, pulled back the seat and this is what i found.

Nothing spectacular obviously, but I was still like wtf buying it from an 80 year old man. 10 disk sony changer and an oldschool unknown sony amp under the seat. Seat has to be removed for the amp.

The deck I presume is a pretty nice one. It has a copper chassis. Take a look. Its oldschool goodness.

Also the chevette is my bass race car. Currently putting up high 140s

that deck is very high end for its age. i had a mobile es back in like 98 and it was the best sounding deck i ever owned IMO.

The man laid out good money for that deck my ES deck I got in 98 cost me $600 could use an outboard DSP. Great looking truck, little work and it could be real sweet.

Sounds good but the buttons are worn, screen is dim, etc. Had to rewire the truck. Has front leafs for extra melons and chickenz. Sounds really good. Not a fan of a cd changer though. Ill sell it with the changer for the right offer. Truck is getting new rockers as we speak.
