So I am pretty new here, found the site about 6 months ago, been addicted sense, I cannot stop reading.
The Car, 1994 GSR Sedan.
My Audio Setup:
HU: Kenwood DNX-7100
EQ: Clarion EQS744
3 Sets of Monster RCA's
Mid Amp: Diamond Audio D3 400.4
Fronts: Alpine TypeR 6.5" SPR-17S --- Factory Location (door panels)
Rears: Infinity 6x9" Reference --- Factory Location (rear deck)
Sub Amp: Diamond Audio D3 600.1
Subs: 2 - Eclipse 12" (unknown model)
1 Farad Cap
8g Alternator to Battery
4g Battery Ground
4g Run to Rear
4g T-Distribution Block
It sounds pretty good as is, in a sealed enclosure but I think I want to make the move to a ported, in a custom trunk setup.
I am open to advice, criticism (with advise), This was a budget system with less then 500$ spent.
Future plans, I am at least thinking of:
Install 6.5" in the rear deck (replace 6x9's) -- perhaps a Cut threw to allow more air flow.
Custom mount the EQ below the Screen (currently in glove box)
Mounting the tweeters in the mirror bolt covers
