If you go with the 19, don't get the gen 4. Stay with the gen 3. The gen 4 has had too many problems with ejecting because of the new spring they used.
I like the 19 a lot. It was either the 19 or the 26 when I was deciding. If I had to choose now, I would have chosen the 19.

Id be getting a 3rd gen if I go with a Glock... Gunna look at an M&P

Springfield makes a nice gun.

I didnt like the looks of the trigger so thats what I figured would be problem... I dont care for the feel of a 1911 in my hands though...

Your best bet is to just head up to your local shop and molest each gun to decide.

Im going Wednesday too look one last time before I make the call... I can the glock for 435 though so thats an awesome price... Getting quotes from Salient Arms to get some custom work done as well
