zx1000.1 possibly broken

i had the vehicle on, with my radio on while i was trying to connect my power inverter. it looks like my alt to battery wire [big3] got disconnected and then reconnected causing a spark.

now when i turn on the amp it automatically goes into protection mode. i tried disconnecting the speaker wire, the rca wires,power wire, the remote wire and the ground wire. none of that worked. unfortunately the fuse didn't blow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

now that i gotta replace the amp i would like some suggestions, the current kicker was a power hog, ive seen some other amps do similar RMS ratings without needing so much power [such as the jl audio gmax] .

i have a 120amp alt so im not sure what is the max rms numbers i could run on my car

1. i got a budget of $300 - $400 . MORE IF ITS WORTH IT

2. im looking for at least 1200W rms @ 2ohm

3. i want something dependable, reliable

cmon people.... im doing some searching but cant find any confirmed products that will do the power i want and sound good.....

so far all i see is AQ2200D but i cant order one because they are sold out
