ZX 2500.1 @ 4 Ohms on a 13W7

The sub is ported to JL's specs, I'm going to hook it up right now since I have a roadtrip to Miami in the morning.

It'll be ok right? It says 1500 rms peak and I read the amp will do about 1250 rms @ 4 ohms.

Just wanting to double check.

Thought they was dual 1.5s?

That would be 3ohm

zx2500.1 vs a 13w7 = win for the kicker...fial for the sub.. amp does 1250rms at 4ohm...sub is 1000rms

keep the volume knob and gains down low and it will work

Yeh...just set the gain a bit lower...itll work fine though

Those subs can take a good 2000 from what i seen in personal installs

not quite. mine got pretty toasty off of a little more than 1k. but tis always better to have more power in reserve, imo
