zx 1500.1 or 2500.1 for 2 Kicker 15L7?

Getting 2 Kicker L7 15's. At first, I was planning on putting 1500 watts rms (maybe a bit more since the zx is under rated). So that would give em about 750-850 watts each...and they are rated RMS at 1000 rms each. But, Ive been told by a few that maybe this RMS rating is very conservative and that they could possibly handle more.

Would I be safe going with a 2500.1 instead of the 1500.1?

Nope, I've seen it... They guy had 2 on a 2500.1 and blew 1 in 3 days. Now he has the amp's gain less than a 1/4 and its still loud as shit after he got that 1 replaced.

L7's can take 1300 watts depending on user.

i'd get the 2500.1

It's totally safe to put a 2500.1 on any sub. The person controlling the volume is what changes the outcome.

get the zx1500.1. Puts out a ton of power and you won't have to be so conservative. I have one running two 15 Mags and they pound in a sealed box. Its also easier on your electrical system.

wussy, that amp isn't big enough for 2 L7's at all.
