ZX 1500.1 on a 18" FI BL?

Im going to be ordering a FI BL pretty soon and I was wondering if the ZX 1500.1 would be a good amp to power it? Any body else have any suggestions on a good amp for that sub?

Right now im running the stock alt in my explorer, i had a 200 amp knu alt but the POS broke. I think the stock is 120 amps, will I be ok? And im gonna get a yellow top or a kinetik under the hood

for $500, I bet you can find a good ZX2500.1

Headroom FTW. You could set the gains to ~1800 watts, and then if you ever wanted to go bigger in the future, you could.

thew dudes right grab a zx2500.1 ive seen people sell good condition ones on here for $400=$500 range.

the zx1500.1 will be fine and you shouldn't need any electrical upgrades. I have a zx1500.1 on a 80 amp alt and two yellow tops and i get no dimming. You should be able to find that amp for a little over $350.00, so you can put the money saved towards something else.hth

for 500 you have a pretty wide range of amps you can get.

autotek mm4000.1 is in that range too..i think theres one 550 shipped on here now

and many many others if your looking used you can obviously get alot more but even new you can get a decent ammount
