Zune?

Alright, I'm going on vacation next month and I want something I can listen to music and watch movies with. I'll need something to do on the plane and when I get bored.

My bud has a Zune and I do like it. I HATE Apple so an iPod is out of the question, plus everyone I know that has one it's messed up at least once on them. I see Zune has a 30 and 80 GB. Is there any real difference between the two? I take it they both can play MP3's and movies?

I'm not looking to use this in the car, I have CD's for that. I guess another option would be is a Sony PSP? I've read you can burn DVD's/CD's onto it, etc? Plus you can buy movies for it and it has a bigger screen.

I'm new to this whole MP3 player thing, so any help would be great.

I have a 80 GB Zune. The only difference is 50 GB. Can get one cheapest on http://www.newegg.com.

BTW the 30 GB is First Gen, and pretty thick. The 80 is Second Gen, thinner, and easier to use.

You can play movies and most music. Have to convert the movies with a program though. Google will help you with that, I haven't done it yet because my phone doesn't need converting so I just use that.

I used to have two iPods. I hated both of them. The Zune is a lot better IMHO, and despite people saying the program (like iTunes) sucks, I like it.

Yes that's the thing that worries me, I'm not very good with this new crap and having to convert the movies so the Zune can play them... meh. The problem with the PSP is the expensive and small GB memory sticks.

Samsung P2 is a possibility. I've always hated Zunes. Nothing against microsoft, I think the software is gay. Wmv and wma are also not cool.

Right now I have an iPod, even though I hate apple (lol), but i must say they are nice. I love the cover flow.

yea its a 30gb its white has all the hookup's in box and it has a firewire to your radio.
