How about ipod w/o itunes?

Winamp w/ mlipod plugin and my ipod video work great for me.

I think that some people just dont like ipods because they are so popular now, like the people that always try to name a band that they think no one else knows to sound cool (if ya know what I mean).

Also everything works w/ the ipod so that's nice.

just means since most people have ipods as mp3 players, most stuff is designed for them.

You're thinking of the THIRTY (30) GB Zunes. Not 80. 30's were priced to clear out.
And my 80 GB lasts a good 2-3 days of driving/listening to it through the day before I have to charge it again. I love it.

Wrong, they were selling them on newegg for 99 smacks. They 80gig ones. Ask Faulkton about it. He was the one that turned me too it.

except for the fact that the zune doesnt integrate with ANYTHING...

integration > zune.

like i said about two pages ago, the zune is going to, and will continue to **** it hard until mocrosoft convinces other manufacturers to start integrating it into home and mobile audio...

but they play VO quality files (or FLAC if you want to sacrifice the space) .
