Not really.

My sister has an ipod and I don't really care for it. Sure the integration is nice, but I don't have a pioneer or ipod-compatible deck anyways so no worries.

The battery life just really blows balls on the ipods. Like I said before, I've gotten 20+ hours out of my cowon and it was still going.

i have gotten plenty battery out of mine, i usually keep the brightness a little chill down low and shutoff clickwheel sound and lower brightness timer. and avoid watching pron on it for long periods of time...

if im listening to music and playing say...solitare on the ipod, the battery life is just atrocious.

if i just set it to play music and then lock it and intermitently switch between albums, the battery life is pretty good.

so what you do is make a portable ipod charger out of batteries ( on some illegal website book or somethign), hook it up, and play all the games you want while listening to music...

well now that i have my 30gig zune and aux adapter i just want say... it's bad ***. i love music again...

aux in is awesome, no fm transmitter could ever come close in sound quality... it sounds just as good as cds and it doesn't skip... plus you can rip cds in lossless format (although it does take forever)...

only issue i have with mine is that one whole cd and a few songs are permanently stuck on my zune. i deleted them and they don't show up on the software, but they are still on the zune. can't figure it out, but it's not that big of a deal...

i have the 8 gig iPhone, and i love it. Ive got every episode of family guy, stewie movie and blue harvest. and about 600 songs. Its really sweet having the full speed connector with my 9885. i had my phone jailbroke but as soon as the new firmware came out i reverted it cause i didnt wanna be bricked haha.

i will say though that i do wish i could put wma's on this thing. i have countless lossless albums and songs. ive got 57,000 songs roughly short of 300 gigs w00t

if it didnt cost 50-60+ dollars for the monthly payment, i would be right there with you...thats ridiculous tho...
