thats probably the leading cause of people buying ipods right now...sure as hell not the software or the prices they like lol...

I've got both, 30gig ipod video for the car, and 30gig zune for everything else

When I can get an interface cable to work with a zune, I'll sell the ipod

It was during Christmas time and it would be available and then when I would try to purchase it, it would say sold out, lol!
I did the samething as well about not having to carry around cds anymore.

You're thinking of the THIRTY (30) GB Zunes. Not 80. 30's were priced to clear out.

And my 80 GB lasts a good 2-3 days of driving/listening to it through the day before I have to charge it again. I love it.

Just use the aux input.. mine sits in the little cubby under my deck.. i tohught not having direct control would really ****.. but it doesnt bother me at all.. the zune sticks out just far enough to be able to switch songs ect without even having to pick it up.. and since it sits right under the HU its just as easy to control as using the HU.

i know of the aux input in the back of my head unit, but the only cords i see that come with the zune are usb. is there some sort of adapter you can buy?

That's what I use. Front input on the my HU cept it's at 2.5mm instead of 3.5mm (normal headphones)

I have the Sandisk Sansa e260 ... I like it much better than my GF's iPod Nano ... Plus it's fairly bulletproof ... It's gone through the washer and dryer a couple of times, dropped on numerous occassions, punched, kicked, slobbered on by babies and chewed on by dogs, and it still works like a charm ... The screen is less scratched up than would would think, too ...

My GF actually likes mine better, too ...

I have a Zen and I love it. It just works great, I can operate it without looking at the pad or the screen (good while driving), battery lasts forever. That and I love answering questions like "how do I get songs off my iPod?" My friend got a iPod Touch for Christmas. He's telling me about all the stuff it can do, and I'm telling him yeah, I know about it. I also tell him that I hate the iPod software and that my mp3 player can withstand regular daily abuse and that I don't have to worry about it literally snapping it half.
