Zune.. not happy

I don't get why you would need to rerip the music.. If you ripped it to your machine using w/e program you use, it should still reside on your computer, which would just require redownloading it to the zune..

i deleted all the mida i ripped onto the comp due to makeing it run slower..

no personal comp for the lossssss

The iPod isn't going to be any more reliable. You know it's bad when the manufacturer REFUSES to accept any more returns of faulty products from the retailer so they can LIE to their investors about failure rates.

I think itunes works like the zune marketplace for ripping Cds.
I am thinking of trying to get an Ipod of some kind just for flash memory vs. HDD. I am trying to figure out how to get the songs on my Zune to my new computer.
itouch and small Ipods are flash but the big ones are HDD based.

Did you drop it or has it been tossed around a lot?

As others have said, when you rip your cd's again, make sure you SAVE it and don't delete it! If it made your computer run slow, buy another HD and keep your media on it only. Another thing to remember, if you do plan to get an ipod, DON'T rip your cds on Apple's proprietary codec.

If I were you I would buy a HD with about 300GB to rip your music, then buy a solid state mp3 player. You should have enough with $240.

I got my Zune last January and love it. My iPod was a glitchy POS. And I have too many friends with broken iPods. I used to have to reset my iPod every time I turned it on or else it wouldn't start. I've left my Zune in my car in the heat of the summer and it came out with flying colors. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
