I ordered a ssa zcon 12'' d2 recently and i'm wondering if it would be ok to power it with a hifonics brutus brz1200 while i save up enough to upgrade my amp and electrical?

Yup, just make sure you are sending it a clean signal, and you won't have a single problem.
