here i have 2 zapco digital reference amps. they are a 1000.4 and a 1100.1. they were only used for a couple hours to break in my components and subs. reason im selling is i want to upgrade to a bigger amp. these are basically new. they were bought from an authorized dealer and installed by them also. looking to get 1000 shipped each or 1850 shipped for both. they retail for bout 1400 each. PM for faster reply.

great amplifiers, i have ran those exact same models and loved it. then went to a new DC1100.1 and DC650.6 and ran those for another two years, then got stolen....

great amplifiers.

yeah, i wish i didnt have to get rid of these but i want more power for my DD sub and i cant afford the competition zapco amps, so im thinking about going over to audison vrx series amps.

what woofers are you running? i was running that DC1100.1 on a pair of 1000 series 10"s a few years back, then a 3512 (the one in the avi). now i have a 9.0 on a pair of 2510's and stepped up to a 6.0 on the components. and i went with a SP7 instead of the DSP this time.

i would step up to 2.5 cubes gross (not net) and tune that box higher. get up into the 38-42hz range. the tuning depends on the vehicle, but all the DD's perform better the higher range. it will still play plenty low.

i built 6 boxes for that woofer and the DC1100.1. the one with the cleanest note shifts, most range, and by far was the loudest was 2.5 gross, 40" of port area, and 16" long. the port wasnt touching any side of the box (not a slot port). if you did a slot port, make it 14" long.

the nastiest box i built (loudest and meanest sounding) was the same box, only with 36" of port area.

yea mines made for sq, i like the way it hits now. i just want it to be louder, ill have it at like volume 60 on my radio and i know it can alot louder than it is at that volume.

SQ is my main priority. but i like the ability to throw down and get nasty if i feel the need to do so. try tuning it higher. it will get a lot more aggressive on the upper notes that the woofer likes to naturally play. it will still play low and sound good. just change where it peaks at. i think you probably missed a bit on the tuning if it isnt getting loud enough right there. there isnt anything wrong with that amplifier matched up to the 3500 series. i think you should hang on to those personally.

the installer at the shop i got everything done at, he's real good wit dd subs and zapco amps, he was the one that recommended me going with those, i woulda had an idmax with audison lrx amps. all the cars he's worked on came out amazing, so i let him do my install. he asked me what i was gonna use the setup for and how i wanted it sounding, i told him and he made the box and tuned the whole setup for me. he personally has the 3512 on a 500.1 audison amp. thats the reason why i want to upgrade to the vrx amps. to me, my box is perfect the way it is. i just need more power to my sub.
