Zapco 1100.1

Has anyone tried running the zapco 1100 at 1 ohm. I know its rated @ ohms, but has anyone try running it @ 1?

That's probably too expensive an amp for most on this forum to take chances with, though I have heard they are 1ohm stable.

I would love to run that amp @ 1 ohm if it could handle 1 ohm all day long it would be a great amp. Please anyone that has this amp or has tried it running it at 1 ohm please post.

I have a Zapco reference 1100.1

They are not 1 ohm stable, however mine is 1 ohm stable. Mine has been modded by Zapco to be able to run at 1ohm, as long as there is proper ventilation to keep the amp cool.

I have never clamped it, i wish i had a clam meter to tell you exact how much power it puts out.

here are the specs:

800 @ 4

1100 @ 2
