Looks good, but quite a few batteries will fit under the hood. I have a group 34(IIRC) Optima Red Top under the hood of my ST Focus and has served me really well.(Didnt have to customize anything, just a little elbow grease, lol!) Also have a powermaster(forget model now) in back tire well area and no big 3 and 1800rms on two tens doing 144.1 on TL and get very mild dimming. Can hardly tell. Mine is in a trunk as well.

Look forward to the end result and what you test at on the TL. Should be pretty decent. If you had a good electrical before, I imagine you would have had higher numbers as the hatches get quite a bit louder than the trunks.

I think out battery bays are a bit different. I need something with under 7 inches of height, otherwise the hood will not clear. They do not make an optima that will fit, I have tried many of them at the local stores. A xs 1200 should be perfect, I just have to wait until I get some more cash.

Well got the box kit today. Pissed off because the sub doesn't fit the cutouts. I don't really have the means of handing down the cutouts without buying tools, so irritating. The cutouts are the sundown specified 7 1/4.

Wish I had a place to paint this thing, not so sure spraying in my apt would be a smart idea. Will be wiring wiring the box tonight and installing it all tomorrow afternoon.

Just take it outside in the grass...put down some newspaper or something. Either that or use some bed liner from wal-mart, the dupli-color stuff works great.

What grass lol?? I live in the middle of the city. I'll have to find a secluded place and spend a few hours painting it. The bed liner might be a good option, thanks for the suggestion.
