Z4 subwoofer mod?!?!

Hii im new to da forum and i have this Z4 logitech speaker

And it has a 9" sealed sub

Heres how it looks

Just wondering...will it change anything if i mod a port on da sub!??!

ive seen people that just throw different subs in there. its not a 9" its an 8 and ive seen them throw RE 8s and other stuff like that in there. i wouldnt mod the port. you could just build a bigger ported box for a better sub and use that amplification for it.

i'm pretty sure that enclosure has a passive radiator...

meaning there is a sub inside of the box and what you see on the outside is just a cone and suspension. it acts just like a port. i wouldn't bother trying to mod it personally.

yeah i looked into it a bit more and it's actually a 3in driver with a 8in passive radiator. the built in amp does around 16 watts rms. the two outside "speakers" on the towers are also passive radiators. only the center driver is powered.
