I've been thinking about getting 2 fully loaded BTL 15s but am wondering if there is a louder or better sounding Fi combo. Perhaps 4 Fi Q 12s?

I have a max of about 12 cubes net and I'm working with around 6000 watts (3000 @2 ohm per strapped pair, could wire to 1.4 if going with BTLs)

edit' Also, it's in a new Trailblazer probably tuned to something like 35 Hz. This is a D/D.

with that much power, i'd go with BTLs. that'd be a loud *** setup.

do 8.5 cubes at 32-35 hz.

That is exactly what I was thinking but I was curious. Still looking for any opinions though. How are you liking your BTL. Is it what you expected based on the internet hype? Is it fully loaded? How is the SQ?

sq is decent for a straight SPL sub...i can handle it.

it has no options.

it's about what i expected, well....it was a little louder...hehe.

i have had the tinsel slap issue but scott says he's gonna get me sorted out. great customer service.

Are the tinsel leads an isolated issue or has this been happening a lot. This is the first time I've heard of it.

i think its just with the baseline models, the ones with no options. i heard the fully loaded 15s and 18s don't have the problem.

2 15's ftw,with 3000 going to each 1,i got 1 18 mt and i run 6000 daily to it,and 12000 at comps,so the btl's should take it fine from what ive heard.
