You're holding it wrong lulz

Just saying what the work order said I got back when I sent it in bro.
Either way, I bought it straight off the pallet, never hit the self, hooked it up and it sat on the tower in my livingroom. Never dropped or anything. It just stopped reading discs one day.

Im sure they are meant to last longer than 6 months. Like I said before, buying the first run of any electronic product is dumb. No matter how much research they poor in to it, the only way problems will be found is when the first thousands of consumers buy and use said product.
There's always going to be a few failures on ANYTHING. What the OP was talking about sounds more like a design flaw that's affecting everyone. Out of all of the newest systems the Wii has the lowest failure rate.

everything is built to have problems. you really think these guys invent touchscreen iWhatevers but they just cant figure out where to place an antenna??? No, they're built with flaws to you just cant wait to get ur hands on the new improved model. apple doesnt give a **** about u lol

Im usually in for a good conspiracy theory, but I really doubt Apple intentionally fcked this up. This is pretty embarrassing for them and the whole iphone platform. If anything, this is a sign Apple rushed this product into production to meet some arbitrary deadline.

yep. no other iphone ever came out with an apple case when they debuted. Their answer to the problem is either "buy a bumper for it, or hold it another way." Oh and another problem, the glue that holds the screen and the glass together hasn't fully cured, making some iphones have yellow blobs. Also, not all cases make the problem go away, but the Apple case does...

My guess is that they noticed this problem late into production. Since it was late, and probably cost a lot of money, they decided to make the first batches with the known problem and offer the case to solve it. They're most likely already making another batch that wont have the problem, so when they start selling the new batches, voila, no more problem and apple can cover their own @ss.
