Sort of, but not really. Yes, the nominal impedance that is advertised, such as 4ohms, is rarely exactly what the coils read. It could be a range of impedances that the manufacturers rounds up/down to a nominal number. But no, not all advertised 4ohm coils are 3.6 etc.
Fair enough. I juat but the ~(meaning around) and 3.6 because that seems to be the most common but yes you are right it is a range.
