your thoughts on Orion H2

i just want to see wha every1 opinion is on the Orion H2 12.. what sub/s would you compare it to.. would especially like to see what llyod has to say about it. and if he has or plans to do a test on it? anything else about this sub, let me know...

It was out about a month ago, i got to compare a pair of 10"H2s to a pair of 10W7s and i can tell you that the H2s take it in spl (Btw both on an orion 2500d) and the W7s take it in Sql. ALL IMO!

Oh, my bad then. Also, how do they compare to the old HCCAs?

haven't got to hear them yet personally but for the price they are going for on ebay they seem like a steel for a great sub. Most people I have talked with that have heard them say much more clean and a lot better power handling than the old HCCA's. Orion makes good subs and good equipment. I had been told that former enginer for a/d/s took over the H2 project from start to finish. (Same parent company DEI) And that is probably why they will be better in SQ than the original HCCA.

On a side note, I will be taking pics and hearing first hand the new Kenwood 13" monster Excelon sub this weekend. Installers should be done by tomorrow evening hopefully. It will be a local Kenwood demo car, so I know most will say they could have picked better amps etc. but that is why it will be all Kenwood.
