YOUR MAMMA'S....AQ HDC3-A 15's VS RE XXX 12's

I'd say the AQ. The XXX might have a little bit more sound quality since they're 12's, but the AQ will be just as loud, maybe even louder.

You can get both of the 15's HDC3's for the price of one XXX. Heh. The 15 HDC3 Alums are basically almost compared and lean

to the DD 9500's. In my preference, Ill take the AQ....

Thanks for the input bro, My issue now is i was gonna use the AQ3500 and i was pretty set with it, up until they told me about the Crescendo 3k, which has a zenon board and looks like the guts of a AQ3500 minus a few things hear n there. .5 stable to put out 4000 watts, some have had it strapped at 1 ohm which is .5 ohm from each amp. (Not as Stable) but even still. The price not to mention is a huge Diff, when the AQ is 789 shipped and the 3K is 550 Shipped... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Crescendo 3k board is similar to the sundown amps too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah, they AQ3500 price jumped a lot since January 2010. A couple of months ago, the AQ3500d was 549 shipped, now its 789 shipped.

The CC3k sounds like a deal. I heard they're pretty stout amps too. I'd take the new AQ3500d though. hehe

I'm in the same situation and dont know if I should strap it at 1 ohm or not. I dont want anything to happen because they're brand new amps

and have 2 yr warranty. Warranty if voided if I do it. Either way, I just want to choose the safer way and less power consumption way...

The new 3500 is completely new as it is now numbered the 3500.1 I believe the new version does 4300 at 1ohm at 14.4 as the old version did 3500 at 14.4 at 1 ohm, The crescendo seems to be a great new alternative also. 4100 at .5 and a 2 year warranty even running at .5 is a great deal for $550 zenon board also.

XXX on the right amp will take 8k rms vid online of a 15 on 4 ax2000 strapped. I ran 3 XXX 18s on 3 Z1 amps daily amps benched over 5k rms each. I did 158s all day long and peaked in the low 161s TL sealed up on the dash. I was tuned down at 32hz. I ended up wanting higher power handling so I pulled it out to drop in the new system I am using now. The XXX is super clean and gets stupid low and moves lots of air. It is a sql sub. LMS Ultra is about the only thing I would say is better for the same type of sound down low in the 30-34hz range. Both very high $ subs. I liked the XXX better for daily music then the 4 9515s on 4 Z1 amps I was using and well after using the dd and re and then atomic I would never change the atomic for any of them. Out of your 2 listed I would do the XXX
