re= junk..... and not impressed with AQ sound... i have used both and i would have to say AQ is the better buy though and are very underrated.... i will never own re again its over priced jus like jl...

I've heard some impressive RE set ups, so I sure wouldn't call them junk.

AQ's aren't boomy/bottom heavy, so maybe that's the sound you want. I'll be at springfield on the 25th, so stop by and get a demo and see what you think...

3500watts on either single sub set up would have killed them eventually.

So two 15 hdc3's would be better run on the copper coils??

2 subs off a single 3500 then copper is your best bet as they're more efficient.

I don't think I've ever been thanked on here. I don't get into convo's unless I really know the product at hand. I don't think it would be to high. I think re suggests 34 if I remember correctly. I don't listen to a lot of rap, I did some. Ghetto boys and nwa from back in the day. It sounded great on about everyting I through at it. Hope that helps.

2 12" copper coil AQ's will do fine off that power.
Never had a problem with the SQ of the AQ subs and I play a variety of music. xxx is one of the few subs I haven't heard, so I can't comment on it.

even with 3500 rms your gonna eventually smoke either one of them, i personally would go with 2 hdc 12's in stead of one 15, You shouldnt blow them off that power as you would with one, and 2 12's would run in around the same airspace as the one 15'. Who ever this fool is that said look into that aa smd must not know for the less money you can have a warden and who really want's steve meade's fat ass initial's on it.

buddy of mine has two 15" HDC3-A's hooked up to a AQ3500 and was doing 150s on music and it sounded really good and loud to me...i talked to him the other day and redid his enclosure(well danny hays is doing it lol) and is doing 154s on music! i have a small vid of his setup when he was doing 150s i could post up if ya like.

Sooo i listen to a majority of hip hop and rap little club music stuff like that would you think id enjoy those 2 - 12" xxx over those 2 -15 hdc3's?

buddy of mine has two 15" HDC3-A's hooked up to a AQ3500 and was doing 150s on music and it sounded really good and loud to me...i talked to him the other day and redid his enclosure(well danny hays is doing it lol) and is doing 154s on music! i have a small vid of his setup when he was doing 150s i could post up if ya like.

Most def that sounds great if you could post up a video id like to check that out.

From the looks of the video, id be able to strap two 2200d's to them easy. Thanks for the video man.

what 40oz said about the HDC's & xxx's

Tune around 35-36Hz if you play a lot of rap and want to hit harder on the lows with the HDC's.
