wow pimped, thats nuts...that xxx stuff is the moby dick of bass, in most cases...i saw a kid that lived in canada who had a 15" xxx running off some 10k amp, and it was brutal, loudest thing i had heard, and it was in a ford bronco i believe, had a HUGE box

loudest so far... out of the 3 systems i had

12" RE Audio HC12 in a 3.3 cft box @ 32hz

powered by a BX1500D @ 1ohm.

that was in a 2002 Dodge neon took me atleast 30min to put the box in that tiny trunk.

About 12-13 yrs ago I had 2 15" subs and a 1500w amp. They were both California Audio or something like that.

They were in a ported box, I'd guess about 4 ft3.

I "scored" them out of an abandoned car at the tow-shop I worked at. (Legally! The car was left there for over a yr, with letters sent to the owner and all, just so you know) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

These totally pounded, even though they were likely crap-brand components.

I had 2 15" xxx's off of 2 re 35.1ds... That was pretty **** loud. But I think the 1 15" xxx in my blazer was louder. Trunk cars ****.

Id say my current is my best setup.

ArcAudio 2300 SE running a set of Rainbow Powerline CS comps

ArcAudio 2300 SE running an Adire Brahma mkII in a 3.3 ft box sealed.

Its not as loud as my previous setup (ported) but it does still get plenty loud.

Next time around im going all out in an SUV. Still undecided at this time but ill cross that bridge when I get to it.

I haven't been in car audio all that long about 3 years now...first system consisted of a Kenwood HU,Profile CA600M sub amp,Visonik DUAL 10" bandpass (box and subs),and some 4 gauge power and ground.

2nd system consisted of a Pioneer HU,Two Sony XPLOD 10's in the Visonik bandpass (big no no),Profile CA600M sub amp 4 gauge power and ground.

Loudest system I have had so far....check the sig......but I am about to get a whole hella lot louder in the coming months....I've learned a fair share scince starting here.

my current system is probably the best. it tooks a couple years to compeat, design.

my old jeep with 3 15"s was the loudest.

In 1997 I had an '84 4Runner with 9 JL 12W6s on 3 Orion HCCA 225s. Split the removable top about 12 times, split the permanent top twice, warped the rear quarterpanels, shattered front and rear glass....

The 3 boxes were JL-spec, dealer-built. The first set of 3 I had did 149.7 on an Art series 600 PPI amp, at 4 ohm mono. It was in the bed of a mazda, cut thru the cab. I got those 3 in the box for $400. The second set of 3 in the SAME EXACT box were $300 and the final set of 3 was $150, and the box costed me $300.

Small trunk car > huge hatchback.

My jetta was way louder than my a6.

trunk or hatchback, size is the biggest factor.
