For my senior project im working on my system.

I cant figure out whats wrong with my set up. i have a directed 1100d amp and a type r. It just wont work in the bimmer. I kno the set up works because i hooked it up in another car just after i knew it didnt work. The amp turns on. So im assuming the ground power and remote are hooked up properly. I checked all the wiring and all my connections are secure on the deck so the remote and RCA's are fine. IT worked fine a while ago and this is just a recent thing. Could the problem be my deck because it turns off alot when you change songs. My deck has been kind of fuzzy lately. It has been changing sources and other controls when changing tracks. I have to go real slow sometims but i cant figure out the problem. Please help project due in a week.

If you deck dies, your amps die b/c that's their turn on source. Fix your deck, fix your problem.

the amp0 shows it is always on. I assume its the deck problem and i dont kno how to fix it. So should i use another one? But even though at times the deck does not turn off the amp stays on and sub does not play. Kind of like a no signal. the sub will play very very little though. If u put ur head next to it u can see it moving and a little bass in it. just not audible in the car.
