Your Beginner Systems!

My first 'system' was a single home cabinet speaker with a Pioneer 15" sub in it, run off ONE rear channel of a Pioneer headunit. It sat in my backseat playing full-range off 7watts RMS for about a year or so in a 1981 200sx. I would have had two of them, but the other 15 had a broken tinsel lead that a local electronics shop told me couldn't be repaired. I really wished I had had both of them to put in my backseat.

Let's just say I was very familiar with the Urban Audioworks and BOSS lines //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif When I really wanted to splurge and get some heavy duty real name shit I would save up for the Pyramid.

12" Eclipse TI off a JL 1000/1 and pioneer 5700 flipout, kappa perfect compnents off a jl 300/4....I shoulda listened to everyone when they said don't get JL amps lol.
Why is that? I've owned them and am very pleased with the output and sound. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

2 alpine type s 10's

1 alpine mrv-t320--later upgraded to two of these one for each sub

pioneer something decent--ended up blowing the pre-outs

One 12" Alpine Type-E in a prefab sealed Q-logic box (the one with the option to make the box ported/sealed). It was ran off of an Alpine MRP-M250. It sounded good, but was the worst $700 best buy investment ive ever made lol.

Online shopping FTW, bestbuy audio FTL

First piece of equipment I bought was a new JVC tape deck from Good Guys for my 91 Toyota pickup. I think I bought some Sony 6 1/2" speakers for the doors from Kmart.

I wanted to add subs, so I bought a 50x2 Kenwood amp from Circuit City and a couple of either Boss or Pyle 10" subs from the swap meet to go in a box behind my seat. My friends thought it was the greatest system back in high school //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

We used to cruise Santa Clara Street in San Jose bumping Dr. Dre and Snoop in my truck.
