so my younger brother calls me today...im 20 on thursday he just turned 17...he got his first car...a 1996 volvo C90? turbo, said he was a circuit city and wanted to get into the car audio game and what he should get there.

He wants something small in the trunk cause he plays ice hockey and anyone who plays knows how big your bag is and your sticks and what not. So i wanna hook him up with a decent setup in a small box, id say probably a single twelve ported. Budget isnt huge, no XXX's or mags or anything probably around the price range of a type R and amps it doesnt matter just be able to push it. He listens to mostly rap hence the ported.

anyone have any 12 or 10 inch setup lying around there looking to sell...i know its the wrong section but im also looking for suggestions as to what to do.

thanks all....cant wait to hear from you it should be exciting to break him into this car audio game.

yeah try a ported assassin 10 or 12 with a PG x400.1

^^^That would be a good match...I would go with the ten...put it in 1.2 ish cubes ported and your golden...compact little package...

I have the plan from the website but also a plan for a 2cuft enclosure tuned to 33hz.

If using the plan from the website, here is the cutlist i made.
