I agree, and have said virtually the same thing earlier in this thread (or perhaps the 'other' political thread currently going on). A two party system allows both sides to use the 'us versus them' mentality and simply turn it into a brawl. It is exactly what sprouts the inflammatory rhetoric Prox and abates use (that republicans are evil, racist sociopaths). And yes, to be fair, it also gives birth to equally absurd ideas from people like Limbaugh that Democrats are all just welfare babies and pure socialists. Neither is true, yet both sides argue they are. What's the outcome? Nothing of any real substance changes, the powers that be stay in power, while everyone argues that they aren't evil racists or socialist hippies. Our professional politicians' "career" is safely in tact. Prox and abates think Im a 'right winger' yet if a republican shill with equal absurdity as these two posses were to start threads here, Id battle them just as strongly.
This coming from the guy who says his opinion should be considered fact because he lives in Tennessee, his cousins are in the KKK, and 'several' republicans in his area are racist.
This entire topic, that has evolved into discussing Lincoln's political ideology, started when you claimed the KKK is full of republicans. Obama is on record pace in spending ahead of any of the presidents you mention even his butgets suggest so, the left always insurts programs that get paid for later and go way off budget, the left just has plans to spend more money as the programs they impliment cost more money. Gotta love the 30% increase in health insurance too...thanks democrats you make our lives more expensive without even caring about the economy THANKS!
