A few nights ago I was outside a convenient store with a couple friends when 2 cops from our town rolled up to grab coffee or w/e. We ended up talking for a few mins...then I remembered to ask what the rule is on cars with loud music. They basically said "As long as we don't get complaints, we really don't care." Then we started asking stuff like "What if we passed by you at 11pm or 1am full tilt?" (etc. etc.) They said "If it was in residential parts, then yes we would talk to you. But if you were on the main roads we wouldn't bother."
It's pretty chill around here, as long as your smart with it, no one cares.
Then my friend started this debate where "if loud street bikes, harleys, and loud exhaust cars can roll by very often, then cars with systems should be the least of their concern." or something like that.
I kinda agreed but disagreed with his plea. I agree that there are louder cars (exhaust wise) out there than just cars with stereo's. But I disagree because they really can't help it. Car's with stereo's can, it's called the volume knob. We have nothing against those cars or bikes, we were just making a reference.
Idk, just the way I see it. I'm sure some here will disagree. O well.
Regards.
