i can say even without tl testing i am pretty loud.. I don't play stupidly and have not gotten a ticket for my noise.. you didn't get a ticket for nothing..

My friend and I were driving in his car a few nights ago. He has 2 12" polks, fact is, his system gets pretty loud. We drove right past a cop in a neighborhood at 1 a.m.; I was shtting bricks, but the cop didn't do a thing.

Do more deadening? Also, the "Mute" button on Alpines us the fastest way to stop music playing. If you're searching for songs you have to wait for it to return to the regular screen to pause. Mute takes precedent over any function or menu. I found that out a longgg time ago when I was in to bumping around town. Now I never have my music loud enough to be "loud". And I'm only 21. :-/

Ya well i turned it down in town off the highway, and im not gonna go through my story but i was switching songs when the one i was listening to switched to a song with lots of bass and the mute doesnt over ride the menu with the 9883.... It's the "back" button. So I had to wait like 12 seconds with it going loud, enough to get pulled.... lol

Lol. Unless they are SRs, his Polks aren't "loud". But they are definitely loud enough or a ticket, as are most factory stereos these days.
