When I see the word "high end" i think of McIntosh, Audison, Old school PPI, Arc and along those lines.
Someone said US Amp's were budget amps? I don't know what they're smoking. When they were in their prime / made in Florida they were considered to be on the high end side.

I don't see anything wrong with Kicker other than they being mainstream. There is absolutely nothing wrong with mainstream equipment.

pyle and boss are pretty big and they make the cheapest shit out there hands down. no one can contest that.

Go to 1:30. Not doing rated and I'd put money on the birth sheet showing over 800.
And these where the good years for the ZX line.

We got another amp power tester here. It's best to just move on and allow him to think that those numbers must be correct because someone on the forums started testing amps with this method preaching it as gospel.

Lately, I don't have a ton of time. Got a few track meets the net couple days. Work a few nights too. Also, I'd like to do some work on my build when it's light outside.

That may be but you cant say a company that every amp they make does over rated and their subs take more than rated is bad. I feed one set of comps almost 300 watts per door. How could you hate on that? Are they pricey....yes they are. besides the price you cant hate on them. They arent catering to the guy wanting to run 5k on two subs. They cater to the normal giy who wants some bass thats it

Are those speakers? No way a 1 inch coil can handle 300 watts continuously.

Like Martin said, there are plenty of crappy brands that have survived the test of time. They just make there stuff in china and put bigger numbers on the box.

Literally every time someone talks bad about SQ on here, everyone gives them shit. I'm sick of it. Was hoping to keep this thread about Kicker, not Soundqubed. Yes, SQ is a budget brand. Are they the best stuff out there? I don't think so. Am I saying everyone should go buy DD or Sundown? Hell no. Is there one brand that is good quality, beefy, looks good, efficient, high power, and cheap? No.

HDC3's and 4's look decent, but not beefy enough for me. Selling my SQ pro 6.5's to Adam on here local, because I haven't seen Big Scott on here for a while.

Your not 100 serious are you lol. People hate dd because of price??? Money is not my problem. The problem was my 3500's sounded like crap. Dd treated me very good as a customer just didnt care for the subs for daily. Ajd there is a big difference between the guy who goes to bestbuy and pays for a kicker system compared to the kid who orderes a boss amp off line. We just have two different opinions is all. I do not love kicker by any means but they dont make junk but like I qpready said they arent making their stuff to cater to someone wanting 5k on some subs. Im done debating I wont reply you guys are right

In the mid 2000s Kicker had a huge SQ win with Mark Eldridge. L7 8s in the doors, X 18s in the trunk. That was a different Kicker. BTW Gates' L7s where not production L7s.
