to let anyone who's read any posts i've put or helped me try and decide the Canton componet's i have yes are silk dome tweeters. now after hearing a set of QM series MB Quart with titanium dome tweets, a set of Momo comps with aluminum, and then my crap RF P series with mylar dome tweets, then my Canton's with the silk dome tweets. that is every kind of tweeter made that i know of so i've gotten the full spectrum which i'm pleased about so i can honestly put my opinion on what i think is best. to me the titanium ouch too bright, the aluminum nice sounding but still a little bright, the mylar boooooooo is all i have to say, and last but not least my favorite the silk dome. they just sound so incredibly natural and crisp and clean. my only complaint is that canton crossover's have problems to where the tweets shut off if they get too warm, i'm thinking i'm gonna just move the crossover and mount them in a visible spot sometime. just thought i would let everyone who knew i got these componet's know that i love them and recommend silk dome tweeters and canton speaker's if you can find them.

to 85ss no infinity's tweeter's are made of aluminum for the perfect series, the kappa series is made of something called CMMD not sure what that is. from what i've been told by many people silk dome tweets are rare now a day's, i don't know why they sound better than anything i've heard. oh and dreamer, where can i take a look at those componet's?? i know someone who would prolly buy em.

JL audios VR series are silk dome tweeters so as boston accoustics rally series, rockford fosgate fnx series, dynaudio, and kicker resolution series all have silk tweeters i just mention all that ive listened to and there may be more
